We care about your smile.

Office Closing

To begin, I would like to thank each patient for the trust you have given me as your dentist. Taking care of your dental needs has been an honor for my team and myself. It is important that you continue with appropriate dental care; therefore, you should establish contact with another dentist as soon as possible. Effective December 31, 2023 our practice will be closed. I will be available until that date for our current patients urgent dental care.

In order to help you find another dentist, the following information is provided:

Option 1: Dr. Rita at Tri-Dental is a well-qualified dentist. You may wish to place yourself under Dr. Rita’s care. Please inform them you are a patient at Sunrise Dental when calling to schedule. The recommendation from family and friends are also ways of locating another dentist or you can contact the Florida Dental Association at 800-877-9922 for a list of local dental practices.

Option 2: If you have dental insurance, you may need to contact your insurer for a referral within their network.

With your permission, copies of the pertinent information from your dental record can be made available to a dentist of your choosing. Please rest assured that our office will remain available up to the closing date to consult with your new provider to promote a smooth transition and continuity of care.

If you do not contactus with a request by the time my practice closes, Dr. Rita will be the custodian of all my records and can be reached at 352-589-6067. She may ask you to authorize release of the record to her for your continuing care.

Cleanings

We provide comfortable, gentle dental cleanings to detect, deter, and prevent gum disease. If we find a cause for concern, our dental team may recommend a deep gum cleaning to remove tartar below the gum line, to smooth out surfaces where plaque builds up, and to eliminate bacterial infection.
